Maintenance Engineer
to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina. The Maintenance Engineer will be in charge and required to install new equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on site. You may also be required to remove old equipment and train the team on equipment operating procedures. You should have the ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills. The Maintenance Engineer should be able to service and repair equipment without causing extended equipment downtime. Your role will include key responsibilities such as: Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance. Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Ability to work with heavy equipment and to deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs. Providing technical support and training on new equipment. Implementing all necessary work procedures for preventive maintenance, initiating respective scheduled procedures, and monitoring the carrying out of work as well as recording the results within an appropriate filing system. Adhering to all safety and performance regulations. Establishing a monthly report of works carried out, machines maintained, special events, consumption of energy and water, etc., to the Chief Engineer. Controlling and endorsing all invoices for installations, tools, spare parts, and consumption of material and forwarding them for payment to the finance. Initiating, executing, and/or monitoring training of his/her staff for engineering matters. Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, the ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills, along with being quality-oriented with a focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines, and technical proficiency in related software preferable. Available to work in all three shifts and without supervision.
